Three stolen cars recovered
All three recovered vehicles were found abandoned.
Between November 19 and 22, the EMPD Public Order Policing Task Team recovered three stolen vehicles.
The stolen cars were found with the assistance of coordinates provided by vehicle tracking companies.
The vehicles were a white Toyota Tazz, a silver grey Toyota Etios and a red Toyota Etios stolen this month in Brakpan, Alberton and Benoni respectively.
All three recovered vehicles were found abandoned.

The white Toyota Tazz stolen in Brakpan was recovered at the intersection of Sefofo and Uphondo streets in Vosloorus, while the silver Toyota Etios stolen in Alberton was recovered along Makuba Street at Shongweni Section in Katlehong and the red Toyota Etios stolen in Benoni was recovered in Nhlapo Section, Katlehong.
The vehicles were towed to the SAPS Van Ryn Deep Vehicle Pound for safekeeping and further investigations.
