City to host investment summit

"Business leaders, government officials, investors and fund-raisers will attend the summit as well as the exhibition, which will be followed by a bus tour for 200 delegates and media on December 6."

The City of Ekurhuleni will host a Public Private Partnerships (PPP) Investor Summit on December 5 at Emperors Palace.

Spokesperson Themba Gadebe explained the summit is another effort by the city to become the leader in African infrastructural development and economic growth.

“This event will put government and the private sector in one room with the aim of partnering to design, finance, build, operate and maintain several civic office developments in Germiston and Kempton Park,” he said

The aim of the summit is to officially launch the proposed Public Private Partnership (PPP) developments and showcase these proposals, which are part of the metro’s aim to re-urbanise as part of its growth and development strategy.
