Something new on your braai this Heritage Day

Everyone wants to celebrate Heritage Day no matter what their food preference is, and braais are certainly not for meat eaters alone.

September is Heritage month which means braai day for South Africans around the country. Heritage Day is celebrated on Monday, September 24, which means a long weekend filled with friends, family and braais.

It is an important public holiday as it recognises different aspects of South African culture and encourages South Africans across the spectrum to celebrate their cultural heritage, the diversity of their beliefs and different traditions.

Add this Pouyoukas recipe of spicy lentil burgers to your braai as an extra option.
