The following crimes were reported to Brakpan police over the past 24 hours (June 4 to 5):

Business robbery:

• A gang of armed men robbed a company situated along Floors Street in Withok Estates on Sunday.

The robbers confronted a security guard on the premises at around 3.30am and assaulted him.

They fled with truck tyres, two gas bottles, a TV and some electrical tools.

Common robbery:

• A woman was robbed of her cellphone, cash and a credit card in the parking lot of Mall@Carnival.

The incident took place at about 3pm on Friday when the victim was approached by a man as she was returning to her car.

He hit her cellphone and bank card holder out of her hand, picked them up and ran off.

Burglary:

• Rangeview Road, Dalpark (business).

The break-in took place yesterday (Monday).

Stolen: Computers and a radio.

• Porter Street.

The home was burgled yesterday.

Stolen: A TV, two cellphones and a laptop.

• Naboom Crescent, Dalpark.

The burglary occurred yesterday.

Stolen: A TV, laptop and sound system.

Theft out of/from motor vehicle:

• Tyres and mags were stolen from a vehicle parked at an address along Essex Street in Dalview on Sunday.

• A car parked along Voortrekker Road was broken into on Saturday. A cellphone was stolen.
