Armed robbery:

• The driver of a white Volkswagen Polo was robbed by two men on Tuesday night.

The victim, who was travelling along Elsburg Road, near Helderwyk Estates, en route to Alberton, was stationary at the traffic lights at around 8.30pm when two men climbed into the Polo.

They forced the driver into the backseat at gunpoint.

He was robbed of two cellphones, his bank cards and other valuables.

The robbers demanded the pin numbers for the bank cards and stopped to withdraw money from the victim’s account.

After dumping the victim and his car in an open field, the robbers fled.

Burglary:

• Wenden Avenue (business).

The break-in took place on Wednesday.

Stolen: A sound system.

• Heidelberg Road, Dalpark (business).

The burglary occurred yesterday (Thursday).

Stolen: A TV belonging to the company was found near the premises.

• Hoy Avenue.

The home was broken into yesterday.

Stolen: A TV belonging to the complainant was found near the house.

It is not know if anything else was taken.

• Voortrekker Road.

The break-in took place yesterday.

Stolen: Passports, cash, bedding, clothing, a cellphone, TV and set of speakers.

Theft of motor vehicle:

• A white Honda Ballade was stolen from Vootrekker Road yesterday.

Theft from motor vehicle:

• Two batteries were stolen from a truck parked along Rangeview Road in Dalpark yesterday.
