Raise your concerns about proposed new Minnebron development at meeting tonight

The presentation will be held at the Frontline People's Church.

Minnebron residents are urged to attend an information briefing and presentation tonight (Monday) regarding the proposed new development in the area.

The presentation will be facilitated by the Ekurhuleni city planning department.

According to DA councillor for Ward 105, Stefanie Ueckermann, the intention of the meeting is to:

• Afford the developer the opportunity to provide the community with information relating to the proposed development.

• Afford the Community Committee the opportunity to present concerns regarding the upgrade of services (water, sewage, electricity, roads and storm water), emergency management services, community participation and the impact of the proposed development.

• Afford the community the opportunity to raise any concerns.

“Residents are requested to remain calm and orderly during these proceedings as disruption hereof might cause the facilitator to adjourn the proceedings,” said Ueckermann.

“Inherently this will result in none of our concerns being registered with the development proceeding regardless.”

The presentation will be held at the Frontline People’s Church along Koos Vorster Street at 6pm.

Ueckermann can be contacted on 076 541 9717 for more information.
