Common robbery:

• A woman was robbed of her cellphone along Victoria Avenue yesterday (Monday).

The victim was making a call at around 8.40am when a man grabbed the phone from her.

He was apprehended shortly afterwards by members of the EMPD and detained at the Brakpan Police Station.

• A woman was robbed of her cellphone by a woman known to her.

The incident took place at the victim’s home along Northdene Avenue on Wednesday.

The woman accused the victim of stealing her phone and attacked her.

She then took the victim’s cellphone and left.

Burglary:

• Elizabeth Street, Dalpark.

The break-in took place on Friday.

Stolen: Two laptops and a schoolbag.

• Elliot Street, Anzac.

The home was burgled on Sunday.

Stolen: Two TVs and a laptop.

• Raasblaar Street, Dalpark.

The burglary occurred this morning (Tuesday).

Stolen: A cellphone.

• Springs Road, Sallies Village (business).

The premises were broken into on Sunday.

Stolen: Furniture and a washing machine.

Theft of motor vehicle:

• A car trailer was stolen from an address along Paul Kruger Avenue in Dalview yesterday.

Theft from motor vehicle:

• A car battery, spare wheel and other valuables were stolen from a vehicle parked along Cavendish Street on Friday.
