Athletes win big at champs

These athletes from Muriel Brand School excelled at the recent Extra Ordinary Education Athletics Championships (for learners with learning disabilities) in Sasolburg.

Enrique van Strijland (silver for 400m and long jump).

The medal winners are:

Noxolo Kunene (gold for discus and fourth place in shot put).
Mieke Schonfeldt (gold for discus and silver for javelin).
Karabo Shabalala (silver for 800m and long jump).
Jason Kumm (gold for 100m, 200m and long jump).
Liezl O’Niell (gold for shot put and long jump and silver for 100m).
