• 2 Maart

Die NG-kerk Brakpan-Wes gemeente, wat op die hoek van Reitzlaan en Paul Krugerweg geleë, is hou ’n mini-kermis by die kerk vanaf 4.30nm. Heerlike eetgoed sal te koop wees.

Die NG-kerk, Brakpan-Oos, wat vanjaar sy 70ste bestaansjaar vier, hou ’n Feesmark vanaf 3nm tot 7nm. Heerlike eetgoed sal te koop wees. Die Suid-Afrikaanse Nasionale Bloeddiens (SANBD) sal ook teenwoordig wees vir mense om bloed te skenk. Die kerk is op die hoek van Lappingstraat en Boundaryweg geleë . Vlooimarkstalletjies kan by Alta Rudolph bespreek word (083 396 7591).

Die NG-kerk, Brakpan-Noord hou ’n kermis vanaf 5nm. Daar sal baie kosstalletjies wees, asook ’n boere-orkes wat gaan optree. Buite stalletjies is ook beskikbaar. Die kerk is te Gardinerlaan 101 geleë. Skakel vir Ds Kotie Marais (011 740 0278) of die kerkkantoor (011 740 2241) vir enige navrae.

A Women’s World Day of Prayer meeting will be held at the St John the Baptist Catholic Church situated at 74 Queen Avenue at 10 am. It is an interdenominational meeting and all women are welcome. For more information contact Luzonne Bekker (082 890 3799).

Felicitas Skool hou ’n kermis by die skool vanaf 8.30vm tot 2nm. Groot verskeidenheid tweedehandse goedere te koop. Lekker kos, gebak, naaldwerk, speletjies en vermaak. Vir meer inligting skakel die skool ( 011 813 4142).

Tuesday

The Brakpan Homecrafts Society meets every first Tuesday of the month in the St Peter’s Anglican Church hall at 10am. New members are welcome. A Narcotics Anonymous meeting for people who have a problem with drugs – or think they may have a problem with drugs – is held every Tuesday at 7.30pm at the St John the Baptist Catholic Church, 74 Queen Avenue. The Just Wheels Car Club hosts an open day at the clubhouse, every last Sunday of the month. The club is situated at 169 Kitzinger Avenue, Dalview.
