The victim was forced to pull over when the taxi tried to push her car off the road.

Four men alighted the taxi and approached the victim.

She climbed out of the car and threw her car keys into the veld.

The robbers searched her vehicle and took her handbag, purse and a laptop charger.

They returned to the taxi and drove off.

Sexual assault:

• A woman was attacked at the corner of High Street and Germains Avenue on Sunday.

The victim was walking a female friend home at around 8pm when she realised they were being followed by two men.

The men were nowhere to be seen when the friends entered a shop to seek help.

Confident that the men were gone, the friends parted ways and the victim walked home.

As she approached Germains Avenue, however, the victim saw the men following her.

She started running and one of the attackers caught her and sat on top of her.

He tried to take off her clothes and the victim screamed.

The men fled, but one was apprehended by community members, who assaulted him.

He managed to escape his captors and ran off.
