The following crimes were reported to Brakpan police over the past 24 hours (February 8 to 9):

Arrests:

• Speeding: 3

House robbery:

• A woman was robbed in her Dalpark home by three men yesterday (Thursday).

The victim was home alone at her Masefield Street residence when the trio broke in at around 12.30pm.

They confronted her in the kitchen and took her to a bedroom, where they tied her up and covered her with a blanket.

One of the men kept a watch over her, while the others ransacked the house.

They stole numerous household items, including a TV and microwave, and fled in the victim’s car.

The Toyota Corolla was later recovered in Soweto.

Burglary:

• Hospital Road, Brakpan North.

The break-in took place on Wednesday.

Stolen: A fridge.

Theft of motor vehicle:

• A motorbike (colour, make and model not provided) was stolen from an address along Queen Avenue on Wednesday.

Theft out of motor vehicle:

• A spare wheel was stolen from a bakkie parked along Voortrekker Road yesterday.
