Residents discouraged from giving gifts to waste staff
The City of Ekurhuleni urges residents not to provide gifts to the employees of Waste Management Services, be it monetary or any other form and especially alcohol, as this negatively affects the rendering of the services.
In an unfortunate case where employees harass residents for gifts, residents are urged to get employees’ names and/or vehicle registration number.
These incidents need to be reported directly to the divisional head of Waste Management Operations, Shirleigh Strydom, on 061 432 5378.
