Ekurhuleni beefs up emergency services resources

The Ekurhuleni Disaster and Emergency Management Services (Dems) recently acquired six new medical response vehicles worth about R1.8-million.

This is in addition to the fleet of 36 ambulances and seven primary response vehicles obtained in August. “Strengthening our resources will improve response time and more lives will be preserved,” said Dems spokesperson William Ntladi.
