• Kidnapping: 1
• Possession of drugs: 1
• Common assault: 3
• Robbery with firearm: 1

Arrests:

• Theft: 1
• Possession of drugs: 1

Armed robbery:

• A schoolboy was robbed along Slangberg Street, in Leachville, yesterday morning (Monday).

The incident took place as the victim was walking home from school.

A man stopped him, pointed a gun at him and demanded cellphones and money.

The man searched the victim and took his tablet.

Business robbery:

• A shop in Prince George Avenue was robbed by a man armed with a knife.

The robber entered the shop at around noon yesterday and threatened a female cashier.

He fled with a large sum of cash and a cellphone.

Theft from a motor vehicle:

• A spare wheel was stolen from a vehicle parked along Beechwood Street, in Dalpark, on Saturday.

Burglary:

• Park Street (business).

The burglary took place on Saturday.

Stolen: Cleaning trolleys, dustbins and brooms.
