Waste Brigades to keep Ekurhuleni clean

This is in line with the Siyaqhuba Mayoral Outreach Programme.

The City of Ekurhuleni is embarking on a drive to recruit over 2 000 people for the upcoming Keep Ekurhuleni Clean programme.

The aim of this programme is to ensure that Ekurhuleni is kept clean, whilst promoting social cohesion and preservation of the environment.

This is in line with the Siyaqhuba Mayoral Outreach Programme launched by Ekurhuleni mayor Clr Mzwandile Masina last year.

The day-to-day work schedule for the waste brigades includes recycling and illegal dumping.

Only residents of the City of Ekurhuleni with a valid South African identity document can apply.

The period of employment is 18 months.

Applications or CVs can be submitted in person at the Brakpan Customer Care Centre from today (Monday) until Friday, between 9am and 3pm.

No faxed or emailed applications will be accepted and there is no payment required to apply.
