Police seek gun-wielding robber

The robbers fled with a music system, wristwatches, TVs and laptops.

Brakpan police are looking for this man in connection with a house robbery that took place on Tuesday, June 20, in Brenthurst.

A domestic worker was assaulted during the robbery at her employer’s home along Scott Crescent.

Three robbers entered the house and confronted the woman, who had a baby in her care, at around 1.45pm.

The woman was taken to the lounge, where she was struck in the face by one of the robbers after she told him he was frightening the baby when he shouted.

A man armed with a crowbar kept watch over the woman while the others ransacked the house.

The robbers fled with a music system, wristwatches, TVs and laptops.

The man, who was armed with a gun, is about 26 years old, short, has a dark complexion and was described as having a calm demeanour.

He wore black clothes and spoke English and isiZulu.
