• Common assault: 1

Arrests:

• Fraud: 1
• Shoplifting: 1

Hijacking:

• A 66-year-old Brakpan man was shot during a hijacking at a Brenthurst church, yesterday (Thursday).

Business robbery:

• A company situated along Koot Street, in Withok Estates, was robbed by six men yesterday.

The robbers, three of whom were armed with guns, entered the premises just after midnight and overpowered two security guards.

Numerous truck tyres were stolen.

Burglary:

• Trollip Street, in Brenthurst.

The home was burgled on Wednesday.

Stolen: Cash, cellphones, a tablet, medication and a schoolbag.

Theft of motor vehicle:

• A white Hyundai bakkie (model not provided) was stolen from Wenden Avenue, yesterday.
