Daily crime watch

The following crimes were reported to Brakpan police over the past 24 hours (May 31 to June 1):

Cases reported:

• Fraud: 1
• General theft: 1
• Business burglary: 1
• Possession of drugs: 5
• Illegal immigrants: 1
• Theft of motor vehicle: 1
• Theft out of motor vehicle: 2
• Malicious damage to property: 1
• Destroying infrastructure: 1
• Dealing drugs: 1

Arrests:

• Possession of drugs: 4
• Illegal immigrants: 1
• Dealing in drugs: 1

Burglary:

• Kingsway Avenue (business).

The workshop was burgled between 6.30pm on Tuesday and 7am yesterday (Wednesday).

Stolen: Tyres were taken from three vehicles.

Theft of motor vehicle:

• A white Isuzu KB 250 was stolen from an address along Cardigan Street, in Dalview, yesterday.

The car was stolen between 9.30am and 9.45am.

Theft out of motor vehicle:

• A cellphone and a digital storage device were stolen from a car parked along Voortrekker Road.

The car was broken into between 1.50pm and 1.56pm, on Tuesday.

• A vehicle parked at the corner of Kingsway Avenue and Park Street was broken into yesterday.

A laptop and a jacket were stolen.

The incident took place between 2.15pm and 2.30pm.
