The following crimes were reported to Brakpan police over the past 24 hours (May 24 to 25):

Arrests:

House robbery:

A Kenleaf woman was threatened at gunpoint by two men as she arrived home yesterday afternoon (Wednesday).

The woman, who lives in a complex along Bentley Place, was confronted by the pair as she parked her car at around 5.50pm.

One of the men pointed a gun at the woman and said he would kill her if she screamed.

The woman was forced inside her house, where her hands were tied with cable ties.

She was robbed of her jewellery and left in a spare bedroom.

The robbers fled in the woman’s white Nissan Almera.

Burglary:

• Soetdoring Street, in Dalpark.

The break-in took place on Tuesday.

Stolen: A TV and two laptops.

• Hospital Road, in Brakpan North.

The residence was burgled on Tuesday.

Stolen: A TV.

Theft of motor vehicle:

• A white Volkswagen Golf was stolen from Sapelie Avenue, in Leachville.

The car was taken between 10pm on Tuesday night and 6am yesterday.

• A Mazda 323 (colour not provided) was stolen from the corner of High Street and Voortrekker Road, at about 11am, yesterday.

• A blue Volkswagen Scirocco was stolen from Main Reef Road, in Anzac, last night.

The car was stolen between 8pm and 10.30pm.

Theft from/out of motor vehicle:

• A battery was stolen from a truck parked at the corner of Rangeview Road and Airport Drive, in Dalpark.

The theft took place between 1.20pm and 1.30pm, yesterday.
