The following crimes were reported to Brakpan police over the past 24 hours (May 23 to 24):

House robbery:

• A Sallies Village resident was robbed in his home by three robbers yesterday (Tuesday) morning.

The man, who lives at an address along Olifant Street, was getting ready for work at around 3.45am, when the robbers broke through his kitchen door.

Two of the robbers were armed with knives and the victim was told to lie down and keep quiet.

The trio fled with a gas stove, a gas bottle, two sports bags, several wristwatches, two cellphones and clothing.

Burglary:

• Goods Road (business).

The vacant property was burgled and vandalised on Monday.

Stolen: Taps, pipes, wiring and switches.

Theft of motor vehicle:

• A red Suzuki EN-125 was stolen from De Wet Street, in Brenthurst.

The theft took place between 10pm on Monday night and 5.30am, yesterday.

• A Triumph Tiger 800 was stolen from Joubert Street, in Brenthurst.

The motorcyle was stolen sometime between 8pm on Monday night and 6.45am yesterday.

• A silver GWM bakkie was stolen from the Sherwood Shopping Centre, between 11.45am and noon, yesterday.
