R23 claims another life
The taxi overturned and all seven occupants were ejected.
A two-vehicle accident along the R23 (Heidelberg Road) on Wednesday evening, last week, claimed a woman’s life.
According to information received from the EMPD, the two vehicles – a silver BMW and a green Toyota minibus, collided just after 5pm.
The crash took place near the scene of a recent fatal taxi crash that killed five people and injured six others.

On Wednesday, both vehicles were travelling from Tsakane towards Carnival City when the accident occurred.
The taxi overturned and all seven occupants were ejected.
One female passenger was killed and the six other occupants sustained injuries.
The injured were transported to various hospitals by ambulance.
The exact cause of the accident will be investigated.
