Twelve schools will compete – six primary and six high school – and each team is made up of six learners.

Five will debate, while the sixth will take on the public speaking part of the competition.

The research and topics will be directed towards the influence that Chris Hani had on the social cohesion and racial integration of South African society.

The topics are drafted around the three H’s – Housing, Health and Hunger.
