Stolen: A toolbox, car radios, battery chargers, electric tools, several sets of car keys, tyres and rims.

• Muriel Brand Street, in Brenthurst.

Stolen: A television set and DVD player.

Other:

• Tyres and mags were stolen from a car parked at an address along Athlone Avenue, in Dalview.

The theft took place between 8pm on Wednesday evening and 5.30am yesterday morning (Thursday).

• Two security patrollers were held at gunpoint by a group of armed men in Dalpark, last night.

The patrollers, who were on duty at business premises along Rangeview Road, were confronted by the gang just before midnight.

Before their hands were tied with shoelaces, one of the victims managed to press the panic button, which alerted the security company to the incident.

The gang fled when the security response team arrived.

They stole a cellphone, the panic button and a set of keys.
