Man killed in suspected hit-and-run

A case of culpable homicide has been opened.

Brakpan police are investigating the death of a man who was killed in a suspected hit-and-run on Sunday morning.

The SAPS were called to the scene, at the corner of Station Road and Germains Avenue, at around 3.15am.

Upon arrival, they found the body of a man on the side of the road.

The deceased had multiple injuries to his head and right leg.

Police also found parts of a car on the scene, but there was no vehicle.

A case of culpable homicide has been opened.

Members of the public who have any information are urged to come forward.
