Wednesday:

• Thieves stole tools and a canopy from a bakkie parked at an address along Privet Avenue, in Leachville.

Thursday:

• A man was robbed of his cellphone, cash and jacket at the corner of Voortrekker Road and Goods Road.

The victim was on his way to meet someone in Goods Road, when he was confronted by three men.

One of the men threatened the victim with a knife and demanded his belongings.

The incident took place at about 11.30am.

• A Leachville resident was hijacked outside his Boven Avenue home.

Three men confronted the victim as he pulled into his driveway at about 7.30pm.

One of the men was armed with a gun and pointed it at the victim.

The resident was forced into the back of his car, a silver Nissan Qashqai, and the hijackers drove off with him.

The hijackers stole the victim’s cellphone and bank card, and dropped him off after 10pm along Van Dyk Road.
