* A vacant house along Van der Walt Road, in Dalview, was burgled.
The break-in took place sometime between January 27 and February 13.
Light fittings, taps, window locks and a stove were stolen.
* A cellphone was stolen from a vehicle parked along Prince George Avenue.
The theft took place on Sunday at about 4pm.
Tuesday:
* A Big Boy scooter was stolen from an address along Kitzinger Avenue.
* A GPS device and cosmetics were stolen from a car parked in Tigerwood Avenue, Leachville.
* A hijacked vehicle was recovered at the corner of Voortrekker Road and Kerry Street.
EMPD officers performing crime prevention duties spotted the silver Toyota Yaris at about 2.30pm.
The car’s two occupants were arrested for being in possession of a hijacked vehicle.
