* A business situated along Queen Avenue was burgled, on Saturday.

Copper cables and other goods were stolen.

* A car trailer was stolen from a property along Frere Avenue, on Sunday.

The theft of trailers has spiked over the last few weeks.

Weekend crime round-up

* A red Toyota Etios was stolen from Mall@Carnival yesterday (Monday).

The theft took place between 1.40pm and 2.20pm.

* A white GoMoto scooter was stolen from an address along Prince George Avenue.

The theft is reported to have taken place between January 31 and February 4 .

* A man was assaulted and robbed of his cash at the corner of Prince George Avenue and Hastings Avenue.

The incident took place at about noon, when the victim was threatened with a knife.

The robbers searched the man and took his cash.

The victim sought help from a patrolling police vehicle and his attackers were arrested.

A case of robbery was opened.
