* Tyres were stolen from a truck trailer.

The vehicle was parked at a construction company along Springs Road, in Witpoort Estates.

The theft took place between 8pm on Wednesday evening and 5am yesterday (Thursday) morning.

* A laptop bag and battery pack were stolen from a car parked at the corner of Kingsway Avenue and Prince George Avenue.

The theft took place at about 2pm on Wednesday.

* A man claims he was robbed of R15 000 while walking along Elsburg Road, near Carnival City, yesterday.

The complainant told police he was en route to Van Dyk Park, in Boksburg, when three men confronted him.

Two of the men were armed with knives, while the other had a firearm.

They forced the victim into the nearby bushes and robbed him of his wallet – containing the large sum of cash – and his cellphone.

The incident took place at about 7.45am.

Break-ins reported:

Escombe Avenue.
Crocodile Street, in Sallies Village.
Hoy Avenue.
End Street, in Dalview.

Goods stolen: computers, laptops and large screen television sets.
