Burglaries were reported at the following addresses:

Hofmeyr Street, in Brenthurst.
Gladstone Avenue.

Laptops, television sets and a games console were among the items stolen.

Possible rock-throwing incident: A case of malicious damage to property was opened after a motorist reported his vehicle was hit by a stone.

The complainant stated the incident took place along the N17 highway on Saturday, January 21, at about 9pm.

He told police his vehicle’s windscreen was struck and damaged as he travelled past the Dalpark bridge.

A Suzuki motorbike was stolen from an address along Taft Avenue.

The theft took place beween 9pm last night (Tuesday) and 2.10am.
