Join Hirsch’s and Auto Deal JMC for a day of fun

Celebrate South Africa's diversity, win amazing prizes and give back.

Hirsch’s Carnival and Auto Deal JMC are jointly launching an exciting campaign that reflects how much they treasure their clients, the community – especially children and those in need- and our vibrant nation.

The campaign is divided into three elements which will culminate in a day of family fun, celebration and giving back, on December 16.

This includes a Sizzling Summer Braai-off, a Treasure Hunt whereby validated contestants will win outstanding prizes, and a space where residents can come together as a community with the help of Lifeline, to share a special gift with children who have suffered abuse and neglect.

Teddy Bear Drive

Hirsch’s Carnival and Auto Deal JMC are collectively supporting the Lifeline Teddy Bear Drive.

The community is encouraged to visit the store or showroom and donate new or second-hand teddy bears.

Lifeline Teddy bear pins are available for purchase from the Hirsch’s Carnival store (Nossob Street, Dalpark) and from either of the Auto Deal JMC branches (20 Nossob Street or 1 Prince George Avenue, Brakpan).

All proceeds go towards Lifeline’s incredible initiative to continue the work they do to combat gender violence, their National Counselling Line and Aids Helpline.

Hirsch’s and Auto Deal JMC are hoping to collect 10 000 teddy bears by December 16.

Treasure Hunt

Auto Deal JMC and Hirsch’s Carnival are in the spoiling mood and want to show their customers how much they are treasured.

To celebrate, they have launched a Treasure Hunt, where great prizes are up for grabs.

Fantastic spot prizes will also be given away on the day.

How does it work?

Summer Sizzling Braai-off

Held in partnership with Weber, residents are invited to share their culinary skills by preparing  a delicious piece of meat that represents the diversity of flavour of our vibrant nation.

Braai-off entries open on December 9 and close at 10am on December 16.

The meat will be supplied on the day, but contestants need to bring along their own spices, basting, or toppings.

The braai-off will start at 11am and contestants will have one and a half hours to produce their finest braaied sensation.

Contestants will be scored on uniqueness of flavour, how well the meat is cooked and overall inventiveness.

The winner will take home a Weber braai.

What better way to celebrate the Day of Reconciliation on December 16 than coming together to celebrate South Africa’s  diversity, having some family fun, winning amazing prizes, eating great food and giving back where it counts.
