Herald makes fashionable statement at expo
The outfit, which was designed and created by Herald editorial staff, was a big hit amongst visitors to the Photo and Film Expo.
Brakpan Herald journalist Malissa Spies turned heads at the Photo and Film Expo, held at the TicketPro Dome in North Riding, Johannesburg, on Friday, last week, in a one-of-a-kind newspaper outfit.
The expo, which is Africa’s largest event of its kind, focuses on the local photographic and film industries.

As part of the Caxton exhibit at the show, the Herald and sister newspapers, the Germiston City News and Benoni City Times, each made an outfit entirely from newspaper.
The outfit, which was designed and created by Herald editorial staff, was a big hit amongst visitors to the expo.
Malissa’s newspaper accessories included earrings, shoes, a top hat and a suitcase clutch.
