The City of Ekurhuleni will host the inaugural Ekurhuleni Tourism Conference at the Lakes Hotel and Conference Centre, in Benoni, tomorrow (Tuesday) and Wednesday.
The theme is Why Tourism Matters in Ekurhuleni.
The conference will see close to 350 delegates engage in a dialogue between public and private sector stakeholders from the tourism industry and share information on the challenges and tourism opportunities within Ekurhuleni.
Dignitaries from the Gauteng Tourism Authority, Ekurhuleni Travel and Tourism, Industrial Development Corporation and the South African Tourism Service Association will be amongst the speakers at the conference.
The conference runs from 8am to 5pm on both days.
