Leandre gives back for Mandela Day

Leandre Stander, a learner from Laerskool Brakpan-Oos, wanted to do a good deed on Mandela Day and decided to give back to those less fortunate.

Leandre, who is a finalist in the Toddler and Tween of the World Pageant 2016, received a donation from Pick n Pay Sherwood Gardens to help her on her journey.

Leandre used this donation to give back to Huis Talita, a children’s home housing 11 children, situated in Rand Colleries.

On Sunday she spent her 67 minutes for Mandela Day with the children at Huis Talita, after she had surprised them with much needed groceries.
