Ekurhuleni call centre receives an upgrade

Upgrade may cause the interruption of call centre services.

Ekurhuleni’s call centre is receiving an upgrade.

The aim of the upgrade is to improve response time to calls and improve the sound quality and ability to reroute calls to the relevant agent based on their expertise, without a customer being transferred from one agent to the another.

The upgrade is scheduled for tonight (Friday) and may cause the interruption of call centre services.

With the expected minimal down time, customers can log their requests through the following channels:

Residents can also SMS the keyword “Ekurhuleni” to 30788 followed by details of the query to enable the call centre to log the query immediately.

The City of Ekurhuleni apologises for any inconvenience to be caused during the process.
