EMPD catch self-confessed drug dealer

"He was charged with possession and dealing in an illicit substance at the Tsakane Police Station."

A self-confessed dagga dealer was arrested by EMPD officers in Tsakane on Saturday morning, last week.

The 24-year-old man was found in possession of 19 ‘ziplocks’ of dagga.

He was arrested by members of the EMPD First Responder Unit, who, while patrolling the area at about 10am, stopped and searched the man.

“The arrested South African confessed to the metro police that he deals in dagga,” said EMPD spokesperson Lieut-Col Wilfred Kgasago.

“He was charged with possession and dealing in an illicit substance at the Tsakane Police Station.”
