Join the aerobics marathon movement

The Ekurhuleni Aerobics Marathon sessions are now open and free for all, to encourage healthy living.

Saturday mornings will not be the same in Ekurhuleni’s parks and community sports grounds, with scores of gym fanatics expected to flock for an intense three hours of aerobics marathon sessions facilitated by professional instructors.

The sessions comprise of KaTa Box, Hi-Low and Zumba, with flexible body stretching intervals during water breaks.

“We encourage members of the community to be part of the aerobics as it is important to avoid lifestyle diseases in our communities,” said Ekurhuleni spokesperson Themba Gadebe.

Sessions will be held on the following days for Eastern region community members:

• February 13: Faranani Multipurpose Hall, Tsakane, 8am to 11am

• February 20: HH Ngakane Hall, KwaThema, 8am to 11am

• February 27: Las Vegas Taxi Rank, Etwatwa, 8am to 11am
