Beautiful gardens needed

The proceeds will go towards the Lions Club.

The Van Rhyn Lions Club is planning to host a Garden Open Day in Brakpan next month and is appealing to residents to participate.

Residents who have beautiful gardens, of whatever size, and who would be willing to show it to visitors on February 6 and 7 are urged to make contact with the organiser.

A meeting will then be arranged and finer details will be discussed.

On the days of the event, the Lions Club will ask for a donation of R25 from people to visit all the gardens on show.

The proceeds will go towards the Lions, an organisation which supports the elderly, children, the underprivileged, sight and hearing impaired people.

Residents can contact Athol Selkirk on 011 915 5233 or 083 242 0121 for more information.
