Weekend crime round-up

A suspect was arrested for murder.

According to information received, the following crimes were reported to the Brakpan Police over the weekend:

Friday

Two pedestrians walking along Stoffberg Avenue at 1pm were approached by three armed suspects that stole their cash, a cellphone, a tablet and other personal belongings.

A vehicle was stolen in Denne Road, Vulcania.

A housebreaking occurred in Bentley Place, Kenleaf. A TV was stolen.

In Queen Avenue a suspect was arrested for murder after he killed a man with a knife.

A house in Magaliesberg Drive, Helderwyk, was broken into and a TV was stolen.

A vehicle parked in Hendrik Potgieter Road, Dalview, was stolen.

Mags were stolen off a vehicle parked in Willem van Zyl Avenue, Minnebron.

A housebreaking occurred in Railway Street. A TV, microwave, food and extension cables were stolen.

Saturday

Two vehicles, one parked in Boundary Road and the other one in Prince George Avenue, were broken into. Two car batteries were stolen.

A housebreaking occurred in Swanson Street, Sherwood Gardens. Three televisions and a cellphone were stolen.

Sunday

A vehicle parked at the corner of Cavendish Street and Victoria Avenue was broken into. A car radio was stolen.
