Weekend crime round-up

Two motorists robbed at gunpoint.

According to information received, the following crimes were reported to Brakpan Police over the weekend:

Friday

A pedestrian, walking along Goods Road, was approached by five thugs, who robbed him of his money, cellphone and other items he had on him.

A housebreaking occurred in Punda Maria Street, Leachville. Clothes, shoes, comforters, blankets, plastic containers and an electric pot were stolen.

A man was waiting at the robot at the corner of Prince George Avenue and Voortrekker Road, when armed robbers appeared. Cash, a cellphone and a wallet were stolen.

A house in Green Street, Brenthurst, was broken into. Jewellery, ammunition and a TV set were stolen.

Four wheels were stolen off a vehicle parked in Verster Street, Minnebron.

Saturday

A business in Voortrekker Road was robbed of a large amount of cash.

A housebreaking occurred at the corner of Cavendish Street and Victoria Avenue. A TV set was stolen.

Sunday

A motorist, waiting for the robot to change at the corner of Denne and Lemme roads, Vulcania, was robbed of his money, after he was approached by an armed robber.

A vehicle parked in Talbot Street, Sherwood Gardens, was stolen.
