Wilkinson, who was known for her involvement with the Brakpan Horticultural Society, The Bizzie Lizzies and many other organisations, recently moved to the Ebenheazer Home due to frail health.
Her vibrant personality made her a popular member of all the organisations to which she belonged.
She was the recipient of many trophies and awards over the years, due to her gardening talents. She was at her happiest when she was outside in her garden and she had the ability to get almost anything to grow.
Her wish was to get better, in order for her to get to the second floor of the house, to see her old room.
A memorial service will be held for her today, at the Church of Christ, 7 Oval Road, Anzac, at 2.30pm.
