No Cold Feet project receives numerous pairs of shoes

Brakpan Police donated more than 100 pairs of shoes and clothes to the Ondersteuningsraad on Wednesday, last week.

Capt Joep Joubert (Brakpan SAPS), Wanda Pretorius (Ondersteuningsraad), Anke Wilson (Ondersteuningsraad) and Linda Swart (Brakpan SAPS), with the items donated to the No Cold Feet project.

The No Cold Feet project, which is an initiative of Lieut Col Israel Ndluli (from the detective services) and coordinated by Capt Joep Joubert, is aimed at donating as many pairs of shoes as possible to those who cannot afford them.

“If it wasn’t for members of the public and members of the police who donated numerous pairs of shoes, and even clothing items of all sizes, this project wouldn’t have been a success,” said Joubert, spokesperson for the Brakpan Police Station commander.
