Update: Man arrested for robbery at filling station
A 30-year-old man was arrested on Friday following the incident were an armed robbery occurred at a filling Station in Glen Morgan Street, Dalview on Wednesday.
According to information the suspect entered the shop and held up one of the cashiers with a firearm.
Upon investigation detectives of the Brakpan Serious and Violent Crime unit recovered a firearm allegedly used during the robbery.
On Friday at about 8.45am the 30-year-old suspect was arrested by the unit.
The suspect is due to appear in the Brakpan Magistrates court soon on charges of business robbery, pointing of a firearm, attempted murder, hijacking of a motor vehicle and armed robbery.
More arrests are not excluded.
