Weekend crime round-up

According to information received, the following crimes were reported to Brakpan Police over the weekend (July 17, 18 and 19):

Friday

A burglary occurred at a business situated at the corner of Heidelberg Road and Mans Street, Withok Estates, and another burglary was reported at a business situated in Kitzinger Street. Copper cable, a TV set, four telephones, six cellphones and other electronic appliances were stolen.

A housebreaking took place in Grant Street, Sherwood Gardens, where a microwave oven was stolen.

Six wheels were stolen from the two trailers of a truck which was parked in Molecule Road, Vulcania.

A large amount of cash was stolen from a truck parked in Voortrekker Road.

Saturday

A burglary occurred at a business in Porter Avenue. A TV set, a computer monitor, two grinders and a large quantity of black refuse bags were stolen.

Three housebreakings took place in Van der Walt Street, Dalview, where two TV sets, a cellphone and jewellery were stolen.

A business robbery occurred in Goods Street. Cash, a wallet, a cellphone and liquor were stolen.

Three cars, one parked in Seekoei Street, Leachville, another in Lotus Street, Kenleaf, and the third at the corner of Prince George and Muir Avenues, were stolen.

Sunday

A house situated in Porter Avenue, another in Cycad Street, Dalpark, and a third at the corner of Prince George Avenue and Gardiner Street, were broken into. Jewellery, a camera, binoculars, two bags, clothing, cash and tools were stolen.
