Update: Garage robbed of R40 000
The VW Golf 5, responsible for a robbery at an Engen garage recently wherein R40 000 was allegedly taken, was found abandoned on Friday afternoon at the intersection of Qunu and Nyaweni streets in Tsakane.
The vehicle was positively identified by the victims as the same vehicle that was responsible for the robbery at their place of employment (Engen garage), situated at the corner of Ndabezitha and Pedi streets, Tsakane, which took place on Friday, June 5, at around 10.30am.
Investigations are at an advanced stage and police expect to make arrests soon.
