DA heeds community’s call by petitioning crumbling road
DA Shadow PR Councillor Jackie Reilley and Ward 83 Branch Chairperson Strike Mhlaba recently undertook an oversight of Ndaba Street leading to Pholosong Hospital in Tsakane.
Residents and motorists have been complaining about the poor condition of the road and speed humps leading up to the hospital for months.
“The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality (EMM) has failed in their attempt to install a proper speed hump and maintain the road, thus motorists are expected to drive over a heap of rocks in the road,” said Jackie Reilley.
The DA indicated that the party will keep on petitioning the EMM until the road is fixed.
