Send us your mother and child photos
With Mother’s Day just around the corner, the Herald is launching a photo competition, where one lucky reader can win a hamper.
The hamper has been sponsored by Sherwood Pick n Pay.
We are looking for a photo which displays that special bond between a mother and her child/children.
It can be a fun photo or something more serious.
Readers have until Monday, May 4, to enter.
Photos can be hand-delivered to our office, at 25 Hendrik Potgieter Street, in Dalview, or can be emailed (as a separate Jpeg attachment) to brakpanherald@caxton.co.za
Emailed photos must not be smaller than 1MB and it is important to include Mother’s Day Photo Competition in the subject box.
Photos must not have been taken more than four months ago and only residents from Brakpan can enter the competition.
The name, surname and age of each person in the photo must be included, as well as a short description of where and when the photo was taken.
The photographer’s full name and contact details must also be provided.
Photos without this information will not be considered.
Poor quality photos and those that have been digitally manipulated or altered (with text or graphics) will also not be considered.
The winning photo will be chosen by a panel of judges and will also be published in the Herald’s May 8 edition.
