According to information received from Brakpan police, the 39-year-old resident was surprised by a man armed with a gun, on Thursday, at about 10.30am.

The armed suspect confronted the resident and instructed him to lie on the floor.

This robber was quickly joined by another, both of whom demanded money, and the pair began to assault the resident, kicking and pushing him.
