VIDEO: Brazen robbers carry out daylight robbery in Brenthurst

Three men robbed a house along Hofmeyer Street, Brenthurst, on Sunday, last week.

In the video, a man can be seen tampering with the electric gate — which he quickly manages to open.

Another man then enters the garden and attempts to disable a CCTV camera in the corner of the property.

He is followed by two men, one of whom covers his face with a gloved hand.

One of the men then moves the camera from its position.

Watch the video here:

The male resident (41) was home alone when the robbers entered his house at about 10am.

The resident had gone to investigate a noise he heard in the dining room, when he saw three men, one of whom was armed with a gun.

When the resident shouted at the intruders, the armed man pointed the weapon at him.

The resident fled to a room, where he locked and barricaded the door with furniture.

The robbers fled the house with a television set. They were travelling in a silver BMW.

Two other house robberies took place in Brakpan, last week:  Disabled man robbed in his home.
