Officers from the Brakpan, Tsakane and Reiger Park police stations took girls from three schools — Dalpark Secondary School, Je Malepe Secondary School (Tsakane) and Oos Rand Secondary School (Reiger Park) — to a Gauteng SAPS event, held at the Arthur Bloch Stadium in Johannesburg.
Girls in Grades 10, 11 and 12, from all over Gauteng, were introduced to the various different careers that can be pursued in the police service.
They also enjoyed various activities, including a demonstration by the K9 Unit.
