Cheap books on sale

The sale runs from 9am until 5pm, at the Woolworths entrance.

Bookworms are in for a treat as there are books to suit every taste and prices range from R20 for hardcovers and beautifully illustrated “coffee table” editions, to R2 for soft covers.

“All proceeds go to Lions fundraising, which takes care of those who are in need of assistance,|” said Gill Bailey, public relations officer for the club.

“If you wish to donate some of the books that are overcrowding your shelves at home, we will gladly collect them for our sale tables.”
